Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Alison
DOB: August 2023 (approx.)
Spayed | Vaccinated | Microchipped
Rescued May 2025
Fostered in Stratford
Background:
Alison came into rescue from a large rural colony for TNR. Instead, she surprised everyone by giving birth to three beautiful kittens. Though frightened, she was never aggressive and proved to be a devoted, gentle mother. Now that her babies are grown, Alison is beginning her own journey toward safety, trust, and confidence in foster care.
Personality & Progress:
• A shy girl who is still learning that humans can be kind
• Enjoys cozy naps in fluffy beds and relaxing in the cat tree
• Loves the company of other cats and finds comfort in feline friends
• Plays with toys on her own terms
• Occasionally joins in wand-toy play with her foster mom
• Approachable and tolerant of pets once trust is established
• Currently living in one bedroom, spending her time out of hiding and comfortably lounging
Ideal Home:
• A calm, patient, and understanding adopter
• Someone who respects her boundaries and allows her to set the pace
• A home with other friendly cats would be a must
Why Alison is Special:
Alison is a “work in progress,” but the reward is truly special. Earning the trust and affection of a once semi-feral cat is a quiet, meaningful experience — one built on patience, consistency, and love. Watching Alison choose comfort, safety, and connection is a beautiful reminder of why rescue matters.
💛 For the right person, Alison’s trust will be priceless.
