I have been working with the Behavior team here at OHS and am looking for a special home. Click the "meet me" button to start the process and schedule an appointment.

New things are a little scary to me, but all I need is time and someone to show me it's okay.

All I need is a soft warm place to lay, and to be told I am the goodest girl.

I'm not overly needy and I'm happy to hang out while you binge watch your favorite TV show or read a book.

I really like cheek and chin scratches but please give me time to get to know you first.
Playing really helps me come out my shell and it's a great way for us to bond. Wand toys are my favorite!

I really like other cats. They help me feel more confident and comfortable in my environment.

The type of home I'm looking for:
I would flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.

I may do best with an owner who has had experience owning or caring for shy and fearful cats.

I need to go to a home where there is another cat to help boost my confidence.

Meet and greets are done on a first-come/first-served basis. There may be a wait time during our busiest times, including the weekends.

We do not offer holds on any animals at this time.

Additional adoption info

Oregon Humane Society’s Portland and Salem campuses are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days per week. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, please take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby. Our Customer Care team will be happy to assist you with the next steps.
