My foster knows me better than anyone! Here's what they had to say about me during my time with them: Clove is a shy, gentle-hearted boy whose first instinct in new situations is to hide or give a soft hiss when scared. He has never shown aggression and wouldn't harm anyone - he just needs a little time to feel safe. Once comfortable, Clove is incredibly sweet. He'll come sit on your lap, patiently endure endless kisses, and even tolerate being picked up, even though it's not his favorite. He takes time to adjust to new places and people, but his quiet affection makes it worth the wait. Clove loves to play and truly thrives with feline companionship. He would do best in a home with another kitty, preferably his sibling, to help him feel confident and happy.
I can be shy in new spaces. I need a family who will let me take things at my own pace as I learn about new things. Once I come out of my shell, I have lots of love to give.
I have some handling sensitivity. That means I have some preferences about how and where I get petted. My human friends at the shelter can tell you more!
If there are kids in my new home, I prefer them to be older than 6 and would like to meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more.
