My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster knows me better than anyone! Here's what they had to say about me during my time with them: Pepper is a curious little explorer with a gentle heart. She can be a bit easily startled at first, but her curiosity always wins-she loves investigating her surroundings and staying busy with playtime adventures. In between her energetic play sessions, Pepper will happily come curl up on your lap to rest and recharge. She enjoys closeness on her own terms, though she prefers not to be lifted and feels most comfortable when she can choose her space. One of Pepper's most endearing traits is her affection-she gives endless kisses, gently holding your face as if to make sure you know you're loved. She's easily enticed by toys and would thrive in a home where someone enjoys playing and interacting with her regularly. Pepper would do best with patient, gentle humans who respect her boundaries, engage her playful side, and appreciate a kitten who shows love in her own special way.

Here's what you need to know about me:

I can be shy in new spaces. I need a family who will let me take things at my own pace as I learn about new things. Once I come out of my shell, I have lots of love to give.

I have some handling sensitivity. That means I have some preferences about how and where I get petted. My human friends at the shelter can tell you more!

If there are kids in my new home, I would like to meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more.
