Sweet Moe is a gentle, sensitive boy who’s looking for a loving home to help him truly shine. He arrived at SafeHaven with his siblings, but he’s always been the most timid of the bunch. Moe finds comfort in his crate and likes to take the world at his own pace, carefully observing before jumping in.

Moe would do best with a patient, kind family who can help him socialize with new people and experiences in a positive, encouraging way. He has the sweetest heart; he just needs a little extra reassurance to feel safe and confident. With love and understanding, Moe is sure to blossom into a wonderful companion!

Moe has shown great progress in foster care and really enjoys spending time with other dogs. Being around canine friends helps boost his confidence and brings out his playful side. He takes comfort in their presence and often looks to them for reassurance as he explores new situations. With another friendly dog by his side, Moe continues to come out of his shell more and more each day

Moe is currently in a foster home. If you’re interested in meeting him, please email fostercare@safehavenhumane.com

More about this shelter

For over 40 years, SafeHaven Humane Society has worked to help our communities’ residents be the best humane beings they can be by providing compassionate temporary shelter care; healthy adoptable animals; information, understanding and education; and population control through spay and neuter programs, instead of euthanasia.

Mission
Finding Homes…Opening Hearts….Educating Minds to strengthen and improve the lives of animals and people.

Vision
We envision a community where every adoptable, treatable companion animal has a loving home and where every loving home has the opportunity to care for a companion animal.

Values
We are guided by the belief that no adoptable or treatable companion animal should be unnecessarily euthanized due to space, time, appearance or treatable conditions.

We are committed to:
* Giving a new chance to companion animals who would otherwise be discarded.
* Strengthening the humane animal bond through education.
* Helping people and their companion animals stay together through the support of programs and services.
* Leading responsibly with compassion.
