Diesel is a young adult male who started out as a town stray and was originally part of a TNR plan — but once he was neutered, he made it very clear that roaming life was not for him. Diesel decided the indoor life was exactly where he belonged, and he hasn’t looked back since.
Known as the expert in creative napping, Diesel can fall asleep anywhere and everywhere, often in the most random (and adorable) positions. When he’s awake, he’s all about playtime — this boy is obsessed with toys and staying active.
Diesel absolutely loves other cats and will need an active, playful feline companion to keep him entertained. He’s also incredibly snuggly and has an almost human-like personality, always wanting to be involved with his people.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.
Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $150.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $350.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
