Dog's Name: Molly (MOL0126ALAFS)
Estimated Breed: Retriever mix
Approximate Age: 2 years
Approximate Weight: 45 lbs
Currently Living at: Foster
Adoption Fee: $400
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Molly – your future best friend! **
Straight from Alabama, Molly is a young, medium-sized Retriever mix who is officially ready to pack her bags for her forever home. She made the journey north with her best gal pal, Millie, and has been charming everyone she meets ever since.
Molly is that "just-right" kind of dog — medium energy, medium size, and maximum sweetness. She loves to play and socialize, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and is basically a pro when it comes to being a family dog. In fact, Molly previously lived with a 2-year-old and a 3-year-old, and she handled toddler life like a champ. Tiny humans? No problem. Tail wags included.
Bonus points: Molly is housebroken, which means she already understands the importance of keeping the house tidy (a true Southern lady). She’s affectionate, gentle, and always ready to be by your side — whether that’s for playtime, family time, or couch time.
If you’re looking for a dog who checks all the boxes — friendly, kid-approved, dog-friendly, and full of love — Molly just might be your girl. Apply today and come meet her!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home. For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.org
