My name is Remington!

My name is Remington, Remi for short.  I'm a 90lb, 5-6  year old, handsome guy who ended up at the shelter after my owner passed away.   I was very depressed in the shetler and needed out.  At this time I'm settling in at the Rescue but I would really love a foster home or my own home.  I really like people and get along with both men and women, but I seem to gravitate to men.  I was probably just a house dog without much obedience so I'm learning how to walk on a loose leash, learning how to Sit and learning how to trust again.   I can be a bit protective in a home environment and bond quickly with my person.  I will need time to adjsut and someone with GSD experience who's willing to work with me.  I need a confident leader, one who will take slow and set boundaries as I can be pushy at times.  I prefer calm, neutral dogs to be around. I am a big friendly goofball who just needs some time to get over my loss with a family I can be a part of.  

I am neutered, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative and microchipped.
