My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Creamsicle is an orange domestic medium hair male who is approximately 2 years old.

Meet Creamsicle! Creamsicle has the softest, most gentle soul. He is quite shy when you first meet him and needs time, patience, and a calm environment to feel safe enough to show who he really is. New situations can be overwhelming for him, but with kindness and consistency, his confidence slowly begins to grow.

Once Creamsicle starts to trust, his personality truly shines. He is very food motivated, which is a great way to help him come out of his shell, and he quickly learns to associate his people with comfort and good things. He loves cozy boxes where he can feel protected, warm, and secure, and he absolutely melts for gentle chin and head scratches.

Creamsicle is learning to be more brave every day. He may not be the cat who runs to greet you right away, but watching him build trust and gain confidence is incredibly rewarding. In the right home, with someone willing to go at his pace, Creamsicle will blossom into a loving and loyal companion.

Creamsicle would do best in a calm, patient home and may do well with other cats and dogs with a proper, slow introduction.

Creamsicle is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies. He is FIV and FeLV negative and on parasite preventions. His adoption fee is $300. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

Additional adoption info

Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
