Meet Shirley
Shirley is a gentle buff orange tabby estimated to be about 1 year old. She came to rescue after being heartbreakingly left in a box outside the local impound, but despite her rough start, she remains a calm and sweet soul.
This quiet girl is very content and easygoing, happy to relax and enjoy the simple comforts of safety, soft spots, and good meals. She loves her food and is still a skinny gal, looking like she may have recently raised a litter of kittens. Now it’s Shirley’s turn to be cared for.
She doesn’t seem to mind other cats, though slow introductions are recommended. Her experience with dogs is unknown.
Shirley is patiently looking for a place to call home—a peaceful space where she can finally settle in and be cherished. She’s ready to leave her past behind and start her next chapter as someone’s beloved companion.
Shirley is from a local impound.

Your application simply shows that you are interested in an animal; it is not a binding contract.
Meet the Pet
Your chosen animal’s foster home will reach out to you to discuss the pet you are interested in. If applicable, schedule a meet and greet!
Sign Adoption Contract
An Applications team member will send the electronic adoption contract to you to be signed. They will also request adoption fee payment.
Take the Pet Home
Once adoption agreement and payment are complete, you take your new pet home!
