My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Patience is a grey and white domestic shorthair female who is approximately 1 year old.

Meet Patience! True to her name, Patience is one of the gentlest, most easygoing cats you could meet. She has a calm, mellow nature and a heart full of love, always ready to be near her humans and quietly bring a sense of peace and comfort to any home. She never demands attention, never fusses, and simply wants to make the people around her happy.

Patience is the kind of cat who will quietly follow you from room to room, curl up beside you, and be content simply sharing your space. She enjoys gentle pets, soft strokes along her back, and chin scratches, melting into every moment of affection she receives. Her calm demeanor makes her a wonderful companion for people who appreciate the quieter joys of cat companionship, slow purring, gentle cuddles, and the soft presence of a cat who just wants to be loved.

Although she is mellow and easygoing, Patience also has a sweet playful side that emerges when she feels relaxed and comfortable. She enjoys exploring her surroundings at her own pace, batting at a toy every now and then, or investigating a cozy box. She is adaptable and low-maintenance, the perfect companion for someone seeking a loving cat who will fit seamlessly into their life.

Patience would thrive in a calm, peaceful home where she can continue to share her gentle, loving nature. She would likely do well in a home with another cat or dog, with a proper, slow introduction.

Patience is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies. She is FIV and FeLV negative and on parasite preventions. Her adoption fee is $300. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

Additional adoption info

Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
