What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Mishka is a 6-year-old cat who was adopted a few years ago and has been a very loved part of our home. Over time, it’s become clear that living with a dog is not the right environment for him, and his stress has increased. He spends more time hiding and doesn’t get the calm, consistent playtime he deserves. With an upcoming move, we want to do what’s best for Mishka and give him the chance to be truly happy and relaxed.
Mishka is extremely shy at first and will need a patient home. It can take a few weeks for him to feel comfortable, but once he does, he is incredibly sweet and affectionate. He loves cuddling at night, goes crazy for catnip and toys, gets the zoomies, and enjoys chirping at birds from the window. He would do best in a quiet home, ideally without dogs, where he can settle in at his own pace and feel safe.
We’re looking for a calm, loving home that understands shy cats and is willing to give Mishka the time and space he needs to come out of his shell.
