Meet Smoothie 🐾
Smoothie is a handsome tuxedo boy born in August 2025, with classic good looks and a heart to match. One of his most charming features is a tiny white swoosh on his chin—easy to miss at first, but once you spot it, it makes him even more irresistible. Smoothie can take a little time to warm up in new situations, but patience is quickly rewarded. When he feels comfortable, he turns into a very sweet, cuddly boy who truly loves his people. Gentle, affectionate, and devoted, Smoothie is the kind of companion who forms deep bonds and will happily soak up all the love you have to give.

Cat Tales Rescue NC is the nonprofit rescue arm of Cat Tales Cat Cafe, which provides a unique and invaluable avenue for adoptions. The Cat Cafe environment allows us to get to know each cat and adopter individually enabling us to set adopters up for success which leads to happier adoptions. Even previously overlooked cats get a chance to shine at the café. At the Cat Cafe, cats get adopted quickly, which allows us to be efficient and cost effective, but most importantly, cause the least amount of stress on the cats.
