My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chase is a 5 month old bundle of energy, enthusiasm, and pure puppy charm. If you’re looking for a fun-loving adventure buddy, this little guy (about 35-40 lbs) is ready to keep up with every hike, walk, and play session you can dream up. Chase adores toys! Squeaky, bouncy, chewy, you name it, and he brings that same excitement into everything he does. Like many young pups, he’s still learning his manners and would benefit from continued basic training, and structure, but he’s eager, smart, and motivated. He previously lived with a young child and did well, though he’s still working on not jumping up when he gets excited. Chase was also kennel trained and potty trained in his former home, giving him a great foundation to build on. He hasn’t been tested with cats yet. With other dogs, he’s a bit under-socialized, but with slow introductions, clear boundaries, and patient guidance, he should do just fine. Chase is truly “all things puppy” and is playful, goofy, affectionate, and ready to grow into the best companion with the right family. If you’re looking for a spirited sidekick who will bring joy and adventure into your life, Chase is your guy.

Additional adoption info

Here at the Red Desert Humane Society we strive to place pets in the best homes possible. We ask that you fill out an adoption application prior to meeting our animals. One can be emailed to you.
Once we receive your application we will review your application. During this process we will make calls to Landlords (if applicable). As well as your veterinarian that has provided care for your past or present pets.
We ask that you provide photos of your current residence where the dog will be living.
Once this is complete we ask that your bring your current animals (if any) to the shelter to meet your potential new pet as to prevent any possible problems once you get home.
If all of this goes well and you are approved we will then have you sign our adoption contract as well as pay the adoption fee.
Please call for our adoption fees or any other information.

More about this shelter

The Red Desert Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the placement of previously homeless animals in new, loving environments.

We alter and vaccinate all animals prior to placement, and screen all applicants to ensure a lifelong match between people and pets. We also educate the community about the importance of spaying and neutering pets, proper pet care, and animal welfare. We place dogs and cats in loving, forever homes!
