your new BESTIE!!  Bernie is a 6–7 week old Australian Shepherd mix (believed) and is ready for his forever home! This adorable puppy is full of curiosity and charm and is currently available as a pre-adopt through our rescue. Important details about Bernie’s adoption process: ✨ Bernie will need the remainder of required puppy shots ✨ he will also need to be neutered before adoption is finalized (per rescue guidelines) ✨ His $620 adoption fee includes: • All puppy vaccines • Rabies vaccine • Dewormer • Microchip • Neuter surgery (All of this will be completed over the next 3 months) When can he go home? Bernie can go to his permanent home in about two weeks! However, his adopter must be willing to bring him to one of our rescue veterinary clinics to complete the remainder of his vetting. Our clinic locations: • Riverview • St. Petersburg • Sarasota (Adopter may choose which location works best, but must be able to travel there multiple times.) Because rescue adoptions are not considered complete until all puppy medical care is finished, Bernie is considered “pre-adopt” until that process is done.
