Raven's Story

Meet Raven! 🐾
Raven is a beautiful 3-year-old Domestic Shorthair with a heart full of love. She was previously adopted from the shelter, but through no fault of her own, she was returned when a family member turned out to be allergic.

This sweet girl is incredibly affectionate and truly shines when she’s with her people. Raven adores cuddling, enjoys gentle attention, and is happiest curled up close to her humans. She has a calm, loving nature that makes her a wonderful companion.

Raven is now patiently waiting for her forever home—one where she can settle in for good and share all the affection she has to give. If you’re looking for a loyal, snuggly friend to brighten your days, Raven may be the perfect match. 💕

More about this shelter

The Gloucester County Animal Shelter functions as an impoundment/adoption facility which temporarily houses lost, stray, unwanted or abandoned pets for the 24 municipalities in Gloucester County, until such time as they are reclaimed by their owner or adopted by a new family. The Shelter also provides a 24-hour emergency service for calls regarding animals that are sick, injured or posing an immediate threat to the public.

We have a very dedicated staff and volunteer core who work very hard to see that these homeless pets are given a second chance and placed in a proper homes. All animals are spayed/neutered at the time of their adoption and up to date on their age appropriate vaccinations, Heartworm tested (for dogs) or feline combination tested (for cats) and microchipped.
