My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Hondo, the superstar of the rescue! This charming little guy was once a stray but has undergone a fabulous makeover at SCF and is now on the hunt for his forever home!
Don’t let his blindness fool you—Hondo is one smart cookie! At 7 years old, this mini Aussie is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, ready to bring joy to your life. He’s got skills, too! Hondo knows how to use a doggie door and is a master snuggler, just waiting for his human buddy!
While he adores his humans, he prefers to be the solo star of the show, so he’d love to be your one and only pup. For his safety, he needs a secure, visible fence to roam around.
Hondo is adoptable within 3 hours of Granbury, TX, for a fee of $200. Ready to make this sweet boy part of your family? Check out the adoption application at www.scftx.org/adopt! 🐶❤️
