Meet Hope 💖
3-year-old female
Hope’s name truly says it all. When we took her in back in November 2025, she was in heartbreaking condition. Part of her face was missing, and she could barely breathe. Concerned feeders, especially a wonderful man named Tim, reached out, believing she may have been attacked by a dog. We rushed her to an out-of-area vet we've previously worked with, determined to give her a chance.
After extensive evaluation, the vet suspected something even more serious than trauma. Biopsy results confirmed the most severe case of cryptococcosis the veterinarian had ever seen. Despite the odds, Hope began treatment immediately—and she has amazed everyone ever since.
Today, with ongoing medication, Hope is healing beautifully and continuing to make steady progress, with her sleek fur looking like the stunning Russian Blue breed. She has lost some teeth permanently, but it hasn’t dimmed her spirit one bit. Through everything she has endured, Hope has remained incredibly sweet, gentle, and loving. She truly enjoys being petted and soaking up affection, as if she knows she’s finally safe.
Hope’s journey is one of resilience, survival, and quiet strength. We have high hopes that this remarkable girl will soon find the forever home she so deeply deserves—a home where she will be cherished for the rest of her life.
If you believe in second chances and the power of love, Hope may be the cat you’ve been waiting for. 🐾💗
Born 2023. To apply to meet Hope, please go directly to her page on our website, where you will find the application: https://www.lifelineforpets.org/hope.html.

Additional adoption info
We do have an application form on our website. A home check is also done. We know our animals well and work hard to make sure the adoption will be a purr-fect match! We will be happy to answer your questions. We want an adoption to be the right fit for both the humans and the animal.
When you adopt a pet from us, you can rest assured that you are getting a pet who is much loved, well-cared for, and whom we know well. In turn, we know that an adopter will provide a loving, caring, home.
Cat adoptions are usually $125 each. Dog fees are based on breed. All are current on vaccinations and neutering. Some are microchipped. They are vetted again before delivery.
All of our adoptable cats and dogs are pictured on our website, with their videos, at www.lifelineforpets.org.
