My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello Nice Humans my name is ACE!

I was just five months old when my world cracked open.

First, I was dumped at a shelter.

Then adopted.

Then returned because I had “too much energy.”

Then adopted again… only to be found as a stray.

The shelter called my last owners to tell them I was there.
They knew.
They just didn’t care.

So I sat in that scary place, confused and alone, and I landed on the euthanasia list.
My ending was supposed to be quiet and cold… through the back door, wrapped in a plastic bag.
But fate had other plans.

A rescue showed up.

Kind humans chose me.
And I walked out the front door instead.
That’s my story.

Here’s who I really am:
🐶 One-year-old American Bulldog mix
🐾 Volunteer favorite
❤️ Extremely dog- and kid-friendly
💪 70 pounds of love
🎨 Gorgeous brindle coat
🧠 Super smart and learns quickly
⚡ Fun, playful, and energetic
🛋️ Also calm, cuddly, and affectionate
🏠 House and crate trained
🚗 Great in the car
🍖 Very food motivated
🎾 Loves belly rubs and his toys
📘 Knows his basic commands
I’ve been let down more times than I can count, but I still believe my person is out there.

Can you foster me?
Can you adopt me?
Can you be the reason my story finally settles into a forever?

I’m waiting patiently in Southern California.
(My rescue does not adopt out of state.)

Thank you, kind humans.
I’m ready to go home 🤍🐾

More about this rescue

Our Mission
To Rescue. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing Bullies and their other Buddy Breeds in Southern California.
Whether you are a lifetime advocate of Pit Bulls or new to our cause, we invite you to join us. Get Involved with fostering, volunteering, and sharing all of our adoptable loving dogs.
Rescuing is a Way of Life
Through training, love and patience, we have come to know and love each and every dog we've rescued as if they were ours. They're all little angels and we want them to succeed.
For this reason, we pledge to never take on more dogs than we can properly care for, exercise, train and bring to our dog adoptions.
