My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

These youngsters are ready to face the big wide world......as long as they have each other and a loving family to stand by them and love them always!

Fall and Toothless are a purrfect pair. About 5-6 months old, they are adjusting to their foster home and learning a lot about how to be good kitties.

Fall is a bright, brave little tortie girl who loves to run along beside you and try to get your attention. If she thinks she isn't being noticed enough especially if someone is getting attention, she'll jump right into the mix and make sure you didn't forget about her. Toothless, the softest panther in the land, takes a little more time to be sure that people want him to be nearby. He observes the situation before he jumps in. If you sit down and hold your hand out to either of them, you'll find a little cuteness sniffing your fingers and hoping that they will get a sweet pet.

They let their foster family pick them up for a brief time, but being carried around is not yet a favorite. That might come with time. But for now, hanging out with their people and being loved is the very best!

These two little furballs really like each other and they are perfect complements. So it would be best if they could be adopted to a home together. A more settled home would be great. They are fine with other cats, but probably little kids would be too much noise and activity for them. They need a mom and dad to treasure and love them like they are the kids in the house.

And when summer comes and the outside is not a icy world, they would love to go outside with their family and play in the wonderful grass and fresh air.

If you'd like a couple of cute adorable kitties to share your life, please call us. 907 350-8089. They are in Wasilla.

Additional adoption info

We require that adopters sign our adoption contract and a legally binding no-declawing agreement. There is an adoption fee. Most adult cats are $80 except for those who are sponsored or part of a special. Kittens under 8 months are $135. All adults are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens are adopted at 12 weeks of age or older and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Due to the pandemic, most of our adoptions are done virtually. Some of our cats are also available for adoption from their foster homes.

More about this rescue

Clear Creek Cat Rescue is a group of individuals in Alaska dedicated to rescuing cats in need, giving them care, rehabilitation if needed, and finding happy homes for them. We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help. And through this dedicated group of people, more than a thousand cats have been saved and found loving homes.
In 2017, we rescued and rehomed approximately 500 cats.
