My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Milton is a Handsome Bengal Mix Boy! This 1-year-old Bengal mix is a sweet, confident guy looking for a home with someone who understands the needs of his breed. While he’s a pretty “normal” cat overall, his Bengal side means he’s more active, athletic, and talkative than your average kitty - so experienced cat owners are strongly recommended.

He’ll do best in a home with lots of space and vertical areas to explore. Cat trees are a must, as he loves to climb. He is a little bougie and prefers drinking from a water fountain. He does well with other cats and dogs, but he’s a big boy and can play a little rough (not mean, just enthusiastic) so a home with another playful cat is a must. He will need a safe place outside to wander about and climb trees when the weather allows.

True to his Bengal roots, he’s very vocal and loves to “chat.” He’s sweet, easygoing, and independent, enjoys doing his own thing, and doesn’t mind being picked up (even if it’s not his favorite). He will need some time to adjust to a new environment and new pets, but once settled, he’s a wonderful companion with a big personality.

If you’re looking for an intelligent, engaging cat and have the experience and space to meet his needs, this handsome boy could be your perfect match. 🖤 Text 720-563-7141 for more information.

We require that adopters sign our adoption contract and a legally binding no-declawing agreement. There is an adoption fee. Most adult cats are $80 except for those who are sponsored or part of a special. Kittens under 8 months are $145. All adults are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens are adopted at 12 weeks of age or older and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

More about this rescue

Clear Creek Cat Rescue is a group of individuals in Alaska dedicated to rescuing cats in need, giving them care, rehabilitation if needed, and finding happy homes for them. We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help. We each do what we can to help. And through this dedicated group of people, more than a thousand cats have been saved and found loving homes.
In 2020, we rescued and rehomed approximately 650 cats.
