My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marino is a super sweet 1.5-year-old male. When you first meet him, he almost instantly starts rubbing on your legs and purring nonstop. He is definitely becoming a lap cat and likes to curl up like a little hedgehog. It takes him a few minutes to settle down as he sniffs you from head to toe but will finally settle in your lap purring, eventually falling asleep. He is extremely curious and can’t get close enough to your face and mouth. Belly rubs are appreciated. He has a serious case of FOMO and always wants to be in on the action, hanging out with his people. He spent a fair amount of time in our home office and was always a very attentive assistant. He showed no aggression or hissing when he met our two adult cats. One of our cats mostly ignored him, but the other one was very intrigued and they have been spending more and more time together. Marino will almost certainly do well in a home that already has cats. He is an absolute sweetheart and will be so happy in a home ready to shower him with love and attention!

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!
