My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

O-oh! Hi there. You can call me Giggles, although sometimes I'm so anxious you might just get a nervous chuckle or two at most. Th-that isn't to say I don't want to make friends! It can just be a little hard for me, because let me tell you...the world can be a little too loud and scary sometimes, makes me prefer going at a slower pace with maybe just a tiiiiiny bit of fanfare. One way to get me to open up is to play! I love wand toys and even though I watch more than I bap, that doesn't mean I'm not having a good time. One of my biggest fears right now is being picked up so I like to say I'm a cat that'll come to you rather than one you can handle. All things come with time and patience and maybe someday in a home I can call my own I'll finally be able to open up fully and be the me I was meant to be! Want to meet me? Stop by the shelter today!

Here's what you need to know about me:

I can be shy in new spaces. I need a family who will let me take things at my own pace as I learn about new things. Once I come out of my shell, I have lots of love to give.

I need a slow introduction to cats. I can share my space with cats, but I'd like to get used to the idea over time.

If there are kids in my new home, I prefer them to be older than 6 and need to meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more.
