My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This fluffy girl is curious about everything, especially socks, leaves, and the mysterious magic of squeaky toys. She's smart as a whip (Border Collie genes at work!) but still gloriously baby-brained, which means she may sit perfectly... or enthusiastically sit near you. Both are adorable. Baby Mallow is ready to melt into her forever family's hearts, cuddle like a cozy campfire treat, and grow into the best s'more-loving adventure buddy you could ask for. Warning: prolonged exposure may cause uncontrollable smiling and the sudden desire to say "awww" out loud. $195.00 Fee includes initial vaccines, worming, microchip with registration, and free vet health exam. This pet has been fed Country Vet Naturals, donated to us by Country Vet.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

While you can’t put a price tag on a lifetime of hugs, kisses, companionship and unconditional love, there are costs involved in caring for a healthy pet. When you adopt a pet from the Siouxland Humane Society, we’ve already performed procedures that are critical for maintaining his or her good health. These important benefits are provided to you in the price of the adoption which include the following:

• Initial Preventative Vaccinations
• Deworming
• Microchipping
• Free Veterinary Health Exam

Cats/Kittens
$55 - $75 - $100 - $150*

Dogs/Puppies
$95 – $135 – $165 - $195 – 300*

• Price varies based on breed, age, spay/neuter status and veterinary costs. Higher fees go to help other pets who wait months to find homes.
• Prices may be less than those listed above for Cats/Kittens/Dogs/Puppies if the fee has been reduced from donations to our Sponsor a Pet Program.
