Koen is a 10-week-old male Lab/Collie mix weighing approximately 12 lbs who is ready to find his forever home. He was surrendered to the Rockwall Adoption Center when his previous family could no longer care for him, and now he's excited to begin his next chapter with a loving family. Like any puppy, Koen is eager to learn, playful, and full of curiosity. He will thrive in a home with a person or family who has the time, patience, and commitment to help him grow into a well-mannered adult dog. He is friendly with people of all ages and may do well with other pets who can tolerate typical puppy energy and antics. Koen's adoption fee is $125, which includes his neuter, rabies vaccination, microchip, first round of puppy boosters, and dewormer. Important Medical Appointment: Koen is required to return to RAC on Wednesday, 1/28/26 for his neuter and rabies vaccination. This date is non-negotiable and is part of the adoption contract, in accordance with Texas state law. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.

Dogs are tested for heartworms (if old enough), spayed/neutered, microchipped, given DHLP-P and rabies shots and given a dewormer for an adoption fee of $125.

Cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, given FVRCP-PN and rabies shots and given a dewormer for an adoption fee of $75.
