Sugar—lovingly called Athena in her foster home—is a sweet, confident kitten who truly lives up to her goddess nickname. She’s a medium-energy girl: happy to curl up for cuddles, but always ready for a little adventure or playtime when the mood strikes.
Athena has been exposed to dogs, cats, men, women, and young children, and she shines in every situation. She’s done wonderfully with a high-energy dog, is very friendly with other cats, and absolutely adores people—men, women, and even toddlers! She did great with her foster’s 3-year-old nieces and handled it all like a champ.
She’s fully litterbox trained and already showing off her smarts—Athena knows how to sit on command, and she’ll sometimes even spin if there’s a treat involved (a fair trade, if you ask her).
This little lovebug would do well in just about any home, but she’d be especially happy with another cat buddy, since she loves companionship and having a friend to play with.

Our standard adoption fee is $75 for dogs and $70 for cats. This includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, heartworm test (and treatment medication if needed) for dogs, FeLV test for cats, collar, leash for dogs, and a customized ID tag.
All adoptions must be completed in-person and require a driver's license and payment in the form of cash or a credit/debit card. MAS does not accept checks for adoption fees.
