If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We adopted Nola from One Tail at a Time (OTAT) when she was about 1 year old, and she is now 6. She is truly an amazing girl- very active, incredibly smart, deeply loyal, and full of love for her people. Nola forms strong bonds with her humans and thrives with structure, routine, and one-on-one attention.
Nola does experience anxiety and reactivity stemming from her life before we adopted her. She's made significant progress with training, consistency, and care, but she does not do well with other dogs or with people who invade her personal space when she's uncomfortable. Because of this, she needs to be the only pet in the home and would do best in an environment without young children.
We are seeking a new home for Nola because we have another dog and plan to start a family soon. With no other pets, Nola would thrive- it's as simple as that. She's a loving, intelligent, spirited dog who will be an incredible companion in the right home.
