My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Notes from the trapper/foster: Magnus was from a colony of about 30 in an industrial manufacturing area. We first noticed Magnus in Nov. We both remarked that he looked/acted a little sick, we thought he might shake it off/just a cold. The next week we saw that he clearly had an eye infection. We were not prepared to trap that evening so we approached him to see if we could make a hand grab but he stayed out of arms reach. The following week we came prepared with traps and a net. He looked MUCH worse. I netted him with no resistance or fight. He was too weak to fight and we suspect he wanted the help. We were able to handle him as soon as we got him home. This little guy has always been sweet and was waiting for someone to help him. Took him for TNR but he was in too bad of shape to risk surgery. After some medication, he was healthy and blossoming. He's a handsome little boy with an unusual coat that is only superseded by his personality, heart and chill demeanor. He loves to be held. Loves to be carried and walked around to sniff things. We called those his "sniff walks"

We match our cats to the adopter and their home situation. We will refund the adoption fee if cat or kitten is returned within 2 weeks from adoption or exchange the pet for another if the first one is not working out.

Rescued Treasures Cat Cafe is open Thursday through Sunday for cafe sessions and adoptions from 12pm-6pm. Appointments are encouraged.

More about this shelter

PALNV started in California in 1993 to help abandoned, abused and neglected pets. They moved to Las Vegas, NV, after the recession. It took a couple of years to decide what was needed most in our new community and the decision was made to help community cats find their forever homes.

We opened Rescued Treasures Cat Café in August of 2019 and adopted 40 cats. We were shut down for three months in 2020 due to the Pandemic but still managed to take in 335 cats and kittens and find homes for 299. The first quarter of 2021 we took in 146 cats and adopted 84.

Our cats are from the streets. They have been abandoned and even though they are living on the streets they are very sweet loving cats. We also take out medical cats and kittens from our local shelter.

We are always looking for volunteers, donors and fosters to help save more lives. Our passion is being a part of the solution to saving our community cats!
