Introducing GOLDIE... DOB est 7 /20 /2025 , female, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped...

GOLDIE & SKIPPER were two more kittens that were part of a recent hoarding situation worked in the Fall of 2025. They were initially thought too feral and better left to live with the colony, so they were ear-tipped. It didn't take long however, for them to show that they didn't think humans were so bad after all and a life of safe luxury indoors is what they preferred! GOLDIE is a stunning little tortie girl who may be initially shy in new surroundings but will warm up with love & patience! She enjoys cuddling with her foster family & we're sure she will when she meets her Forever Family too! We'd love to see GOLDIE & SKIPPER adopted together, and will give preference to that, if possible. Being together will really help them adjust to a new home! They may do better in a 'calmer' household, and don't seem to require other cats around if they have each other - but they do fine with new kitties that they do meet! These two are currently staying at the Petsmart on University Drive - you can arrange to meet them there by sending us an EMAIL – info@ffhsv.org! You may also fill out an Application above!

More about this rescue

Forgotten Felines, Inc. is a 501-(3)(c) non-profit charitable organization. Our primary purpose is to manage the feral cat population in our area by trapping, neutering/spaying and re-releasing (TNR) cats back into their original territories. We also work to provide safe temporary homes for cats that are homeless, unwanted, abandoned or lost. Some of our animals have been rescued from dangerous conditions and cannot be released back to their original territory...these animals are housed in foster homes until permanent loving homes can be found. The majority of these animals are friendly abandoned pets, that are not feral, and we offer these loving and grateful animals for adoption at Petsmart in Jones Valley, Huntsville, AL. We also provide help to people who are elderly, disable, financially challenged and those who love their animals but cannot provide them with the necessary care.

Our Mission...

(1) Control feral cat populations through neutering/spaying
(2) Educate the public about about proper pet care and responsibility, especially neutering/spaying and advising about pet behavior and medical issues that often result in families giving up their pets
(3) Humanely remove and relocate ferals when possible
(4) Adopt out loving, grateful animals into permanent forever homes
(5) Raise necessary funds to build a shelter for rescued cats
