My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

If interested in adopting, read about our Adoption Process and complete an Adoption Application on the Mo-Kan website.  A Mo-Kan application must be filled out to begin the process.(Sending an "Inquiry" via Petfinder does not constitute an application.)

Meet Bunny – the Total Border Collie Package!

Bunny is an 8-month-old black-and-white Border Collie with a sleek short coat and a big, joyful personality. She is currently being fostered on a sheep farm with four other dogs.  She’s super smart, high-energy, and full of life—silly, loving, sweet, and delightfully rowdy. One of her favorite pastimes is enthusiastically emptying the toy box, and she’s quite the talker, always ready to share her thoughts.

A true social butterfly, Bunny loves all people and gets along well with other dogs. She hasn’t been cat tested yet. An adventurer at heart, Bunny enjoys car rides, pup cups, splashing in water, and going exploring. With her intelligence, athleticism, and drive, she would be an excellent candidate for agility or other dog sports and truly thrives when she has a job to do.

Bunny has had basic obedience training and is crate trained, house trained, a good eater, and has a decent recall. Like most brilliant Border Collies, she will need continued obedience training, plenty of daily exercise, and consistent mental stimulation to stay happy and balanced—brain work is a must!

She is highly motivated by food, toys, praise, and affection. Because of her exuberant energy level, Bunny would do best in a home with older children only.

Bunny is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and ready to find an active, dog-savvy home that will embrace her energy, intelligence, and loving nature. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who’s always up for fun and adventure, Bunny may be your perfect match!

Bunny is being fostered in the Holden, MO area.
