Meet Strawberry Shortcake 🍓

Strawberry Shortcake is a beautiful 3-year-old long-haired orange tabby with the most adorable bonus toes — she’s polydactyl! This sweet girl has had her world turned upside down after her previous owner sadly lost housing and had to return her, through no fault of her own.

Strawberry is very shy at first and can be easily overlooked, but give her a little time, patience, and a quiet space, and she truly blooms. Once she feels safe and secure, her gentle personality begins to shine, revealing a soft, tender soul who just wants to belong.

She would do best in a calm, understanding home where she can settle in at her own pace and build trust on her terms. For the right person willing to let her blossom, Strawberry Shortcake will be a deeply rewarding companion — a reminder that some of the sweetest souls just need a little extra time to feel at home. 🍰🐾

Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, health certificate and transportation.

All information regarding our dogs and transportation will be discussed prior to adoption.

Puppies under 6 months: $350
Dogs over 6 months: $300
(Special adoption fee applies to some dogs and puppies)

Located in Boerne, TX and transport all across United States for a $300 transport fee.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
