Kai is a Corgi, Mini Aussie mix. She can be shy upon initial greeting, but warms up quickly. She is good with other dogs, does well in the car and walks nicely on a leash.
So far she has not had any accidents in her indoor kennel overnight. With all dogs, you will need to learn their cues that they need to go out and the dog needs to learn your habits as well.
All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. If the dog is not old enough, you will be given a voucher for Animal Medical Center in Emmett to cover the cost of the spay or neuter.

Because we are an all-volunteer organization, please call ahead to schedule a time for a Meet & Greet so we can ensure a dog handler is available to show you the dog or dogs you are interested in.
