My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lilac is at our Adirondack Region Cat Adoption Center in Glens Falls, NY.

Lilac is a lovely gray girl with striking orange eyes, and she comes from a home with many cats—most of whom were known for being incredibly friendly. While she’s a bit less bold than her former housemates, Lilac still has a gentle friendliness that shines through once she feels safe. She loves spending her time perched on the highest spot she can find, observing her surroundings with quiet curiosity. Lilac is the type of cat who prefers to take her time warming up, but her soft nature makes every bit of gained trust feel special. In a calm, patient, and steady household, she’s sure to blossom into a more outgoing, peopleloving companion. With the right environment, Lilac’s confidence will grow, revealing the sweet and loyal heart she carries. She’s a wonderful match for someone who appreciates a thoughtful, observant, and tenderspirited feline friend.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

When you come down to NSALA an associate will help you figure out what kind of animal will do best in your situation. At that point they will take out the animals you are interested in so that you may get to know them. You will have plenty of time to play and interact with your new friend in our family friendly areas designated for that purpose. When you decide you want to adopt, an associate will help you fill out an application.

Our adoption fees are as follows:
Puppies (up to 6 months) $350
Adult Dogs (over 6 months) $100
Puppy Mill Rescues $250
Small Breed & Pure Breeds (over 6 months) $250
Kittens (up to 6 months) $100
