Papa cat started frequenting our house around April 2025 because we were feeding a stray mama and her kittens. We actually call him Papa because we believe he might be the dad to the kittens! He’s super friendly and smart. He has been friendly from day one and approached us without any hissings. He has learned to come “home” to eat exactly same time each day, and when he hears our garage door opens, he will run from our backyard to the front and greet us! He loves laying on your lap and following you around the yard. He can be picked up and held without fussiness. We don’t know how well he does inside the house because we have other cats, so we don’t let him in. Even though he is sweet, we do think a more experienced caretaker would be better for him as he is a stray.
