Welcome Simba! This sweet and round British Shorthair mix joined Murci's Mission when his prior family could no longer care for him. She has an estimated birthdate of 10/29/2024.

He is a funny cat who loves other cats and is ok with calm dogs and kids. He's thicker than a pickle and will need dietary help, and carries himself with all of the casual confidence of an average mediocre white man. He will need very little time to get adjusted to a new environment and take over the household.

Simba comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. His adoption fee is $50 and includes his medical records and a sample of the food he's been eating. Once your application has been received, we will evaluate it as a potential match for the given animal and, if your application is selected, we will proceed to call your references and then conclude with a home check and meet and greet scheduled by you at your home. For applicants out of area, the home check may be conducted via video call before the meet and greet.

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
