My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Manta is a pure love bug. He loves attention and will follow you around. He doesn't hold a grudge if you give him meds or cut his nails. He is used to dogs but generally avoids them and can be a bit dominant with other cats sometimes.

This super sweet boy was eating at a colony since last spring. Avoided traps for TNR, always curious and close, but at the same time kept his distance.

Once the weather grew cold he was going door to door BEGGING and crying, making it perfectly clear he was done trying to find a comfortable place outside and looking for help. (The house he lived under had been demolished a few weeks before.) He even tried to break into a warm car!

He was outside with another friend we hope to catch and vet soon and possibly reunite but that is a big maybe. Manta is ready for his new family to love.

More about this rescue

We are a NJ nonprofit completely run by dedicated volunteers. We do everything possible to educate the public about the importance of neuter/spay, TNR to keep colonies under control, and find great homes for the adoptable pets in need. We work with our adopters after adoption to make sure both family members, human and furry, are happy and adjusted.
