Frodo is a rescue dog, and as a result, is both extremely loyal and more than a little anxious. He is super affectionate, but not a licker; he shows his affection by rubbing his nose on your hands or nudging for you to pet him. He loves to play, he loves to be chased and fetch, though you have to snap your fingers and say drop, to get him to let go of the toy. He responds well to finger snaps for redirection, especially if he is trying to sneak a snack off the table.
He loves walks, though he pulls hard on the leash. He does well running on the leash if you are looking for a fitness buddy. He is housebroken, but not crate-trained.
Because of his anxiety he has bitten new people, especially if they get in his face. He does not bite to hold on or harm, but rather to warn people to keep their distance. We have spoken to trainers and this is retrainable, but we don't have the resources for training.
