Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Diva is an 11-month-old black Lab mix with a gentle heart and a whole lot of love to give. She and her siblings have spent most of their young lives growing up in a shelter, patiently waiting for someone to see how special she truly is.
Diva is spayed, fully vaccinated, and heartworm negative, so she’s all ready to go home. She’s incredibly friendly and does great with people and other dogs. She can be a little shy at first, which is completely understandable given her background, but once she feels safe, she warms up quickly and shows her sweet, affectionate personality.
You may have heard of Black Dog Syndrome—it’s a sad reality where black-coated dogs are often overlooked in shelters. Sometimes it’s because they’re harder to photograph, or people subconsciously gravitate toward lighter-colored dogs. Sadly, this means amazing dogs like Diva often wait much longer for homes, even though their personalities shine just as brightly.
Diva is ready to leave the shelter behind and start her next chapter with a family who will give her the chance she deserves.
Could Diva be your perfect match? 🖤
