Laika is a very charming girl. Before we started fostering her for a friend, she was found outside their door and had gone through a lot of abuse. We could tell this through many of her reactions to cleaning things like brooms and mops. She also hated being in the crate and would break through it, trying to scratch her way out, tearing up carpets and more.
But now we’ve trained her to be so much better, showing her love and helping her trust people. We’ve seen the most growth in her reactions; she doesn’t mind the crate and doesn’t get nearly as anxious as before (she definitely still prefers to be out walking around). She still gets skittish around dogs and can be protective, but after a while, she does get used to them and will even play around sometimes! Most importantly, she’s a huge people dog; she loves people so much (way more than dogs) and will get attached to anyone and everyone!
She’s bright, very active & full of love!
