My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peachy is a sweet, playful and funny girl. She came into our care the summer of 2025 as a young mom. She has raised her kids and is ready to be someone's companion kitty. She is a playful girl, she like to play with toys and enjoys the company of other cats.

She isn't super fond of being carried around, but she comes up and rolls around asking for pets and affection.

Peachy has pretty markings, we think she is a fun girl.

She is fully vetted and ready for a family!

More about this rescue

We are located in South Mississippi, but travel up the east coast regularly (every 2 to 3 weeks) with pre-adopted animals. Dixie Adoptables is one of many shelters working to get animals out of the area where shelters are always full, and adoptions of the sweet babies are hard to come by. We are grateful to every person that chooses to adopt and give a home to a loving animal, whose only fault was being born in a part of the country where their value is underappreciated and spay/neuter is done far too infrequently. Dixie Adoptables is a 501c3 rescue.
