Their adoption process

Adoption Policies for Adopters
All prospective adopters must fill out our application, giving references and information on their home, family and vet info. If you don't currently have a pet, or a vet, you will need to shop for a veterinarian before filling out the application. We also do home checks, when possible. FHRS must ask a donation at the time of adoption, in order for us to continue our rescue work. For more Heartart2017@gmail.com

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    This is the first step.
  2. Home Check
We do this as a matter of course. It's part of the process. We like to meet our adopters, in their own space. We also check Vet references.
  3. Approve Application
Once the home visit and Vet check are complete, we will review the application and contact you with a decision.
  4. Sign Adoption Contract
This is the legal contract between FHR and the adopter. We take this process very seriously. And hope you understand why we do.
  5. Pay Fee
The adoption fee is due and payable when we deliver the pet to your home, or you pick the pet up. It is non-refundable.
  6. Take the Pet Home
Please make a space where your pet can feel safe and secure, and acclimate to a new home. This is very important for all concerned.

More about this rescue

Who We Are
Forever Home Rescue is a no kill, animal rescue. We rescue from our neighborhood, because someone needs to do that. All of our available animals have been spayed or neutered, tested for disease, vaccinated, wormed, treated for fleas and are now ready to place with loving, new families. It's our goal to see our animals go to adoring families and finally have their forever homes. Maybe you have room in your heart for one of our sweet cats or kittens.

Help us stop the killing of homeless, unwanted companion animals. Adopt your next pet from your local shelter or rescue. Please spay and neuter all your pets!
Thank You for choosing us, and choosing rescue.
