Here's what the humans have to say about me:
CoCo is a 9-month-old male Domestic Shorthair with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Found on a farm in rural Jones County, CoCo quickly decided that barn life just wasn’t for him. He made it clear he preferred the comfort of indoor living, where he could enjoy soft beds, warm laps, and plenty of attention.
This playful boy loves his toys and will happily entertain himself — and you — with his kitten energy. When he’s not busy chasing a ball or batting at a wand toy, CoCo enjoys lounging in sunny spots during his free-roam time, soaking up the warmth and relaxing like the little king he is. He thrives on human interaction and truly enjoys being part of the action.
CoCo does well with female cats but would be happiest as the only male cat in the home. He would also do fine with dogs, as long as they respect his boundaries. He is gentle and does well with children, making him a wonderful addition to many types of families. He is litter-box trained and ready to settle seamlessly into his forever home.
CoCo has left his farm days behind and is ready for a life filled with love, playtime, and sunny windowsills. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate young companion who knows exactly what he wants — an indoor life with his people — CoCo is ready to meet you.

More about this shelter
We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!
