My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Winger! 🐾💙

Winger is a 3-year-old, 13-pound Pug/Dachshund mix with a BIG personality packed into a little body! This super friendly, outgoing guy came to us alongside his baby mama and her young litter — but now he’s ready to retire from dad life and step into his favorite role yet: your full-time lovebug.

Winger is affectionate, playful, and loves being around people. He’s the kind of pup who will happily soak up attention, follow you around, and make every day brighter with his silly charm. Plus, he gets along great with other dogs, making him an easy addition to a multi-pup home.

If you’re looking for a sweet, social little companion who’s ready to be your shadow and best friend, Winger is your guy!

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
