I’m Ashanti. I may be a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you. Give me a moment and I turn into a playful, affectionate girl who loves being close, giving kisses, and joining in on whatever you’re doing. I get along well with other dogs, enjoy exploring at my own pace, and have a quietly fun personality that sneaks up on you in the best way. I was found curled up on the side of the road, but I’m past that chapter. Now I’m ready for a home where I can feel safe, have fun, and be someone’s favorite little shadow!

Requirements for Adoption
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• In possession of a valid photo ID
• Allowed to have a pet where you live
• Must accurately complete our Adoption Questionnaire
• All dogs, cats and rabbits adopted from Maui Humane Society are spayed or neutered.
• Able to follow all county laws related to the animal.
• Able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide the training, medical treatment and proper care for the animal
