This helps Coastal Pet Rescue with pet care costs.
Sweet little Cookie isn't too sure about what is happening now that she is in rescue, but she sure does like all the people! Approximately 1 year old, Cookie came to rescue after being found as a stray. She appears to be a doxi/chi mix and weighs about 13 lbs at this time. Cookie has some scarring and hair loss down her back that appear to be from a chemical burn? She will likely have these scars for life.
From her foster:
Didn't know she was house-trained but she is. No accidents. Loves to go on walks to do her business. Other than the 'scary' stuff, she's very quiet. 'Scary stuff.... automatic car windows, the icemaker, the neighbor's trashcan, Alexa, the hair dryer, and my husband when he got home from work Sunday night. Her favorite things....my husband, breakfast and dinner, walking on a leash, napping in her crate (the door is open at all times.) When she gets ready to nap, that's where she goes, and the stafforddshire terrier Queenie that lives next door. Very good indoor dog. Loves her stuffed toys, although we are sad to report that Lambchop met his demise sometime between 4am and 6am. May he rest in peace.
