Cheddar is a confident, active, and playful puppy who’s always ready for his next adventure. He loves going on walks, playing with toys, and especially hanging out with other dogs—whether that’s at the dog park or out on neighborhood strolls. Cheddar is friendly and social, doing well with kids he meets on walks and at the park, though he hasn’t been formally tested in a home setting yet. He’s currently working on his housetraining and learning polite leash manners, and he absolutely delights in sniffing everything the world has to offer. With his long tail and happy energy, Cheddar is an easygoing pup who doesn’t need a fenced yard, a calm home, or an experienced owner—just someone ready to enjoy life, walks, playtime, and plenty of puppy joy alongside him.
Cheddar is a Retriever mix who was was born approximately 6-1-25 and weighs 45 lbs (still has some growing to do). He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested heartworm negative and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.

Since most of the pets we rescue have been orphaned or abandoned, we are not certain of their breed/mix and are not able to pinpoint how big they will be full-grown if they are still young. We do our best to determine the breed(s) they most closely resemble.
