Meet Hondo! Hondo is 2 years old, neutered, and current on all vaccines. A very happy and healthy boy! Hondo loves to play fetch and run around outside. He is leash trained and potty trained. While Hondo thinks he is a lap dog even though he weighs upwards of 100 pounds, he is still a big playful boy and would do best in a home without younger children. Hondo is not reactive towards other dogs in public, but would do best in a home without other dogs or cats. he wants all of the attention to himself and deserves it! Approve Application

Adopters application will either get approved or denied based on the pets needs.

2.
Meet the Pet

Adoption interview and a meet and greet happen at the same time.

3.
Home Check

If meet and greet/ interview go well, we will do a home check to ensure the pet is safe.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once adoption contract is signed and fee is paid, the pet has officially been adopted!

Southside Strays adopts dogs out as indoor companions, not as outdoor guard dogs. Most of the pets that come through our door had either been abandoned or spent way too long wandering the streets. It's their turn to enjoy the life of a spoiled bed-hog! We do require home checks before the adoption process is complete to ensure our dogs are going to a safe home.
