My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Stuart

6 months old | ~18 lbs

Stuart is a sweet, sensitive boy who is really coming into his own. He’s gaining weight, adding some much-needed fluff, and his playful energy is shining through! He loves to play, especially outside, and is doing great on a leash.

House & Crate Progress

Stuart is doing very well with house training—his only accident happened when his people missed his signal (he even went right by the door!). He’s eating great and currently enjoys three meals a day to help him continue gaining weight.

He does well with his kennel and usually only whines briefly when first going in or if he needs to potty. He’s almost sleeping through the night!

Temperament & Personality

Once you sit down, Stuart is immediately in your lap ready to snuggle. He’s affectionate without being overly clingy and truly enjoys calm companionship.

He can be timid around new sounds and unfamiliar people and may bark when he’s unsure. Because of this, he’ll thrive with a patient, gentle adopter who can help build his confidence using positive reinforcement.

Play & Supervision

He hasn’t shown any destructive behaviors so far, but like most puppies, he’ll need appropriate toys and enrichment—especially if left alone—to keep busy.

Ideal Home

Stuart would do best in a calm, supportive home. While he’s currently a bit cautious, we believe he’ll eventually do great with kids as his confidence continues to grow.

Stuart is blossoming more every day and is ready for a loving home that will help him feel safe, secure, and deeply loved.
