**We do believe Lincoln is Deaf**
Lincoln is a classic Velcro dog—if you’re sitting, he’s touching you; if you’re standing, he’s watching you; if you’re leaving… well, he’d really prefer you didn’t. He’s the kind of companion made for a quieter home, ideally an older couple or someone who truly enjoys being home and having a little white shadow follow them room to room.
Lincoln would do best with another calm dog who doesn’t mind being snuggled and having a little sidekick glued to them. He finds comfort in quiet canine companionship and thrives in peaceful environments.
What Lincoln is not is a crate dog. He absolutely hates confinement and will act a full-blown fool if crated, so a home that understands this and can manage him without a crate is a must. Because of that, Lincoln needs someone who is home a lot—retired, work-from-home, or just living that low-key life.
Due to his sensitivity and need for calm surroundings, apartments, condos, and townhomes are not a good fit for Lincoln.
In return, Lincoln offers loyal companionship, steady affection, and the kind of presence that makes a house feel like home. He’s not looking for excitement or chaos—just his people, a comfy spot, and the reassurance that he’s right where he belongs.
We do not allow electric fencing/halo collars, runners/tethers, doggy doors
