My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We adopted Duke from Houston Pets Alive.
He is now 4 years old. We have had him for 2 years. He is a great dog however he does have heart-worms and separation anxiety which is getting worse. Due to our schedules, we can’t keep him.). He does well going to bed in his kennel in a separate room, however he is an early bird (like 3:30 to 4:00 am early) and panics (barking, whining, “digging “) when he wakes up. He does well if he can be with his “person” once he wakes up so a morning person would be a great companion. He does sleep alot during the day and seems to tire out easily. He is house trained. He tolerates the neighbors dog (similar breed). He does have leash issues when other dogs are outside. He will bark and try to get to them but has never been aggressive. (Sounds it but hasn’t been so far). He does have a outside lead and a kennel that he likes especially on nice days).
He has been good with kids He does jump sometimes but he listens well and knows some hand signals.
